Cookie Policy
Last updated: May 2026
This policy explains what cookies Stayzy uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. We target EU users and comply with the GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow sites to remember preferences, keep you logged in, and collect analytics data.
Cookies we use
| Cookie / provider | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
Stripe (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) |
Essential | Fraud prevention and secure payment processing during checkout. Required for Stripe to function. | Session / 1 year |
Stayzy session (stayzy_cookie_consent) |
Essential | Stores your cookie consent preference so we don't ask again on repeat visits. Stored in localStorage, not transmitted to any server. | Persistent (localStorage) |
Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc) |
Marketing | Tracks ad performance and conversions for our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising campaigns. Only loaded after you accept marketing cookies. | 90 days |
Essential cookies
Essential cookies are necessary for the site to function. They cover payment processing (Stripe) and your consent preference. We do not need — and do not ask for — your consent to set these.
Marketing cookies
We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. This cookie is only loaded after you explicitly accept marketing cookies. If you decline, no Meta tracking code runs in your browser.
Manage your preferences
You can also clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. For more information on how to do this, visit allaboutcookies.org.
Third-party privacy policies
Meta Privacy Policy — covers the Meta Pixel and how Facebook/Instagram use data collected through it.
Stripe Privacy Policy — covers data collected during payment processing.
